Edition Notes
Place and date of publication suggested by ms. annotation of [Paris, 1803] on title page; BN Cat. lists another undated edition with imprint: Paris : marchands des nouveautés.
An incendiary diatribe against what the author considers to be the pride of the aristocracy and class system and against the otherwise servile nature of the people of Great Britain; pages 22-25 and p. 44-48 specifically mention the crimes committed by the English against the Americans and their meddling in affairs of state in Saint-Domingue; also includes a great deal of praise heaped upon Napolean and his work on behalf of the French people.
