A large group of boys get trapped on an inhabited Island with a "Beast". Two boys, Ralph and Jack, are the leaders. Jack is the leader of the hunters, Ralph the leader of everyone else. Throughout the story, the boys turn against each other. Death, a sad depressing action, come upon some of the boys. Looking for a savior, they soon become savages. Who/What may the true beast be?
