In verse. Attributed to Catherine Ann Turner Dorset. "Roscoe" refers to William Roscoe, author of "The butterfly's ball." "The peacock 'at home'" was published as a sequel to that work.
LC copy is bound in the wrapper of another edition, with imprint: Phialdelphia, Morgan & Yeager, and the first and last leaves of Dame Trot and her comical cat, Philadelphia, Wm. Charles, 1809.
