Victoria University Library copy 1 (Blake no. 1045) is on paper with various watermark dates later than 1795: E & P 1804 (plates 3, 5, 21, 22, 24-26, 30); CANSELL 1807 (last two fly-leaves); RUSE & TURNERS 1810 (second fly-leaf).

Victoria University Library copy 2 (Blake no. 1052C) on bluish white paper with watermark, GL C. Trimmed to 27 x 42 cm. Bound in 1/2 dark green morocco over purple marbled boards, the spine gilt with "Flaxman Iliad Odyssey Aeschlyus of Homer Carstens Les Argonauts".

Victoria University Library copy 3 (Blake no. 1054A): Bound in contemporary 1/2 brown morocco over khaki cloth labeled on the spine in gold: Flaxman's Homer and Eschylus. Wove paper with a scarcely visible weaving pattern. Trimmed to 26 x 34 cm. with 5 plates folded to fit.

Victoria University Library copy 3 (Blake no. 1054A) is incomplete: lacks plates 6 and 14.
