Also issued as part of his 'Dramatic works', London, 1755, vol. 2.

'The Welsh opera' was the first published unauthorised edition with 31 songs, 'The genuine Grub-street opera' was the second unauthorised edition with 57 songs. The authorised version was: 'The Grub-street' with 65 songs.

'The masquerade' has a separate titlepage dated 1728; the register is continuous.
