The many techniques used for sampling waste rock were reviewed. The first section of the report presented a literature review of the various waste rock sampling techniques. The second section offers suggestions on what methodologies to use during the development of a mine. The final section described the sampling techniques used to assess acid rock drainage potential at La Mine Doyon, Quebec.
