MASS copy: Bound in yellow glazed paper-covered boards printed in red, blue and black. Upper cover printed with titling and full-cover wood-engraved illustration of a woman in a bedroom by candlelight. Illustration with signatures: "A. Hopkins" and "Swain". Lower cover printed in black with advertisement for "Pears' Soap". All sides of upper and lower endpapers printed with general advertisements. With ownership inscription dated 1882: "Mrs. C. H. Luxmoore".
