"The style of ornamentation adopted in this little volume is that of "A Book of Christian Prayers," printed by John Day, 1569, usually called "Queen Elizabeth's Prayer Book." The side-pieces on pages 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, are fac-similes of wood-cuts in that work."--P. [5].
