Plates [1], [3] and [7] are with the same imagery as plates [3], [4] and [5] in the "New edition" of this title published in 1870 by Groombridge and Sons. Some wood-engraved illustrations within the text are also the same as those used in this edition. See McLean O 0300.

With presentation inscription dated 1858.
