Engraved title pages, and engr. dedication in v. 1.

Text in English only.

Vol. 1 is a re-issue of the 1715 edition, and has the same t.p. as v. II but altered in MS. to read "Vol. I".

A third vol. was issued in 1725, with two further vols., by John Woolfe and James Gandon, being issued in 1771.

Vol. 1: with the bookplate of Finborough Library. Vol. 2: With the bookplate of Charles Pettiward.

"A plan of the house & gardens of the Right Honourable the Earl Temple Visc. & Baron Cobham at Stowe in Buckinghamshire"(1 fold plate) laid in a front of v. 1.
