Seven letters, 1863-1864, from Christopher Wren Bunker serving in Tennessee and Virginia to his sister, and one letter, 14 October 1864, from Bunker in prison to his father, mother, brother, and sisters. The letters describe the weather and conditions in the army and give news of friends. The letter from prison discloses that Bunker had been captured and had been ill with smallpox at Camp Chase.
