Supporting Governor Fenner for re-election in 1802. Signed on p. [2]: Republicans.
Followed by copies of a resolution passed by the Providence town meeting on March 22, 1790; a letter addressed to Arthur Fenner from a committee of citizens of Providence and Newport, dated March 24, 1790; and Fenner's response, dated March 29. Concerning political factionalism in Rhode Island and Fenner's candidacy for governor in that year.
American Antiquarian Society found filed after the April 17, 1802, issue of the Rhode-Island Republican, printed at Newport by Oliver Farnsworth.
