The book title just say's R.Caldecott's Collection of Pictures And Songs . The cover shown is the Frederick Warne publication. However there is another later one which says "Second Collection" .This is a collection of Nursery Rhymes and Childrens poems illustrated by R.Caldecott. The illustrations are charming, and there is a sense of humour in most of them. There are some great sepia pen & ink line drawings too.

Just for interest... Frederick Warne the publisher of this book, was the fiance of Beatrix Potter of Peter Rabbit fame, and he published her books. He died before they could marry. He is buried in the West part of Highgate Cemetery.
