The book discusses ecclesiological themes found in the first part of the Liturgy on the Bema of the East Syrian and Malabar liturgies. The proper division of the Syro-Malabar Eucharistic liturgy is: liturgy on the Bema and Liturgy in the Sanctuary. All other divisions aping the Roman liturgy are not in tune with the East Syrian understanding.
