This book is about a young girl named Annie and she is in a special needs class and because of this she is teased and made fun of. One day she came home very upset because this girl named Brittany always makes fun of her just because shes in a special class. Her mom explained to Annie that we're all different and yet still the same in a lot of ways, that we're different in our own way and yet we all like a lot of the same things like having friends and learning new things. This helps Annie feel a lot better and Brittany's teasing doesn't bother her anymore. Brittany learns a good lesson when her mom gives birth to a special needs baby and she realizes she was wrong. Brittany and Annie become friends and Brittany becomes a teacher for special needs kids.
