AT THE END OF HER TETHER

Was ever a sensible lady so put upon? Her brother had a head full of ideas for building a flying machine, her sister had a head full of nothing, and each and every one of the men who had offered for her was either a self-centered lackwit or a fortune hunter. The last thing Lady Edwina Dynford needed was a complete stranger recuperating in the best bedchamber. And the last thing she imagined was that she would fall in love with him, especially since his performance as a footman was highly unconvincing.

ALL TIED UP IN KNOTS

Lord Trent Haversham's brother stole his inheritance and his cousin tried to murder him. Trent really had hoped for a slightly different welcome when he returned from Waterloo! He certainly never expected to find himself a wounded fugitive, incognito and totally dependent upon the charity of the young Earl of Dynford. But although the earl was kind enough to help destitute fellows by offering them situations of service on his estates, his sister had no such soft heart. Trent would either have to execute his job with more conviction or win the practical Edwina over in a far more subtle and enjoyable manner.
