It makes fascinating reading on Gutenberg setting, the font market, and optical scaling. Last but not least, it gives a 'hands-on' account of kanji, the Chinese/Japanese ideograms. The book also contains a number of valuable and instructive appendices. Almost all you need to know about type and computers!
