Chilean poet founder of poetic transrealism in contemporary poetry.
Badilla Castillo was born in Valparaiso, Chile, November 30, 1947. His poetic stile denotes a remarkable influence of the Nordic poetry. Among his works include the books: Lower from my Branch (Short Stories), 1980, The Sign’s Dwelling; 1982; Cantoníric, 1983; Reverberations of Aquatic Stones, 1985; Terrenalis; 1989, Nordic Saga; 1996, The Fearful Gaze of the Bastard 2003;.
