Born on July 6, 1939, in common Valcele, Covasna. Bugariu son George, a graduate of the Commercial Academy in Bucharest, senior, in central subdirectory "Romanian Bank" in Bucharest, and Silvia, a housewife with secondary teaching. Graduate of the Faculty of Philology of the University "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" Iasi.

  • Doctor of Philology in 1983, with a thesis on the prose of Marin Preda
  • Start publishing the newspaper "New Path" in Brasov in 1965. Editorial debut volume of short stories "Viking Voices" (1970)
  • Collaborations common in "Astra", "Star", "Literary Romania", "Romanian Life", "Horizon", "Romania Libera", "Spark of youth", "Spark", "Deutsche Welle", etc.
  • Editor of the magazine "Astra" in Brasov between 1965 and 1974
  • Editor of the magazine "Star" between 1974 and 1992
  • Between 1990 and 1994, Bucharest correspondent of radio "Deutsche Welle" in Cologne
  • Support a bi-weekly column of opinion in the newspaper "Express Gazette" of Brasov (2000 - 2007)
