Jean Vautrin, de son vrai nom Jean Herman, était un écrivain, cinéaste, scénariste et dialoguiste français (né le 17 mai 1933 à Pagny-sur-Moselle, Lorraine, France - décédé le 16 juin 2015). À ses débuts au cinéma, il utilisait son vrai nom. En 1989, il a remporté le prix Goncourt pour son roman Un grand pas vers le Bon Dieu.
Jean Vautrin, real name Jean Herman, was a French writer, filmmaker, screenwriter, and dialogue writer (May 17, 1933, Pagny-sur-Moselle, Lorraine, France - June 16, 2015). During his early years in the film world, he used his real name. In 1989, he won the Prix Goncourt with the novel Un grand pas vers le Bon Dieu.
