Harbans Lal Badhan

HARBANS LAL BADHAN, a revolutionary poet, writer, dramatist, a thinker, a philosopher, and a Social Reformer, is born at vill. Manak Dheri, Distt. Hoshiarpur, in Punjab, (India) in a well educated family. He has authored more than a fifteen of books on different subjects and he retired as officer Gr.A. from "Reserve Bank of India". Name of father is Late Sh. CHARAN DASS & Name of mother Late Smt. Karam Kaur (Karmi). The author has three brothers, named Sh. Ram Asra Badhan, Sh. Piara Singh Badhan & Sh. Kundan Lal Badhan and two sisters named Late Ms. Sumittran Devi and Late Ms. Nirmal Kaur. The author get Married in Delhi. Name of wife Ms. Urmil Badhan. Name of son, Jeetender Kumar & Name of daughter, Deepti. The author is known as a good orator, organizer, poet, lyricist, writer, thinker, social reformer, revolutionary poet & dramatist. His literary works are based on the philosophy of Baba Saheb Dr.B.R.Ambedkar - giving thrust to dalits, peasants, downtrodden & the poor-strata of the society. The statesmen, critics & intellectuals recognize him as a staunch supporter of National Unity, Secularism, Democracy, Champion of Human Rights and Fundamental Rights, Supporter of Social and Economics Equality, protector of the human Rights of Women and World Peace & Crusader against Imperialistic oppression in society. He is very close to national & international organizations based on the philosophy of Dr.Ambedkar. The author is a student of Ambedkar school of thought, Political Science, International Law, International Relation, International Politics & Punjabi literature.
