Salvatore Rosciglione (pen name Salvator Rosciglione) is an Italian poet and short story writer. Graduated in Pedagogy at the University of Palermo, Italy.
Second Lieutenant of Infantry in the Italian Army, he fought at the Libyan-Egyptian front. He was a prisoner of war in India for four years. He was later promoted to Captain.
Married Anna Lauricella born in Buffalo, NY of Italian parents. They lived for a while in Brooklyn, NY; then moved back to Italy, where Salvatore taught as an elementary and middle school teacher.
After retirement Salvatore and Anna moved to Buffalo, NY to be with their family. Anna passed away in 2006.
Salvatore has two daughters, Paula and Maria Rita; and three grand-children, Julia, Alexander, and Sara.
