Baltasar Gracián y Morales

Baltasar Gracián y Morales, SJ (January 8, 1601 – December 6, 1658) was a Spanish Jesuit and baroque prose writer. He was born in Belmonte, near Calatayud (Aragon). All his works but "El Comulgatorio" were originally published under the name of a supposed brother, Lorenzo Gracián.
