Philipp Fauth

[Deutsch] Philipp Johann Heinrich Fauth (1867 in Bad Dürkheim; 1941 in Grünwald bei München) war ein deutscher Volksschullehrer, Amateurastronom und bedeutender Selenograph. Bekannt wurde er durch seine Werke über den Mond und seinen Beitrag zur Welteislehre.

[English] Philipp Johann Heinrich Fauth (1867 in Bad Dürkheim; 1941 in Grünwald bei Munich) was a German schoolteacher, amateur astronomer and important selenographer. He became famous for his works on the moon and his contribution to the Cosmic Ice (Glacial Kosmogonie) Theory.
