Barbara Bérot is the author of two novels, When Europa Rode the Bull, published 2004, and Lies & Liberation: The Rape of Europa, published 2007.
In the spring of 1972, Barbara embarked upon a five month European odyssey. It began in Scotland with the purchase of a 1963 Norton motorcycle and ended with the motorcycle's demise in the French Pyrénées. That adventure, which was alternately wondrous and terrifying, inspired her debut novel, When Europa Rode the Bull.
Barbara earned her bachelor's degree as well as an award in English from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, and has had a long career as a registered nurse. She resides with her husband in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and is currently at work on the third and final novel in this series, with an anticipated release in the summer of 2010.
