Michael D. Weinman (b. 1976) is a member of the faculty at ECLA of Bard, a liberal arts college in Berlin, where he teaches interdisciplinary courses in the humanities and social sciences. He has authored numerous books, papers and chapters in philosophy and allied fields, including Pleasure in Aristotle's Ethics and Language, Time and Identity in Woolf's The Waves. Weinman received his undergraduate education at Shimer College, a Great Books school in Illinois, and his Ph.D. from the New School for Social Research. He subsequently taught at another Great Books college, St. John's, and later at Ben-Gurion University, before coming to ECLA in 2010. (from Shimer College Wiki)
