Ivo Geikie Cobb was a London physician who wrote numerous works that dealt with medicine and disease, several books on historical subjects, an autobiography and also various guides to his home city.
Under the pseudonym Anthony Weymouth (https://openlibrary.org/authors/OL118989A/Anthony_Weymouth), he wrote seven mystery novels with a medico-scientific interest – unsurprising given his background – that featured his series detective, Inspector Treadgold of Scotland Yard.
