Benjamin M. Freeman was born in New York City to the late Rudolph Taylor and Fannie B. Freeman. He attended the New York City's Public Schools. Benjamin enlisted in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War Era. He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, and a Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall before going into the United States Navy.
He was saved under the ministry of Elder Vernon V. Robinson. Vernon V. Robinson withdrew from The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and founded The Apostolic Temple of Truth. Elder Robinson was saved under the ministry of District Elder Henry L. Robinson. Henry L. Robinson is the surviving blood brother of the Famed-Legendary-Evangelist and Faith Healer, Mattie B. Poole of Chicago, Illinois. Elder Henry L. Robinson (of The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World) was saved under the ministry of Bishop John S. Holly (of The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World). John S. Holly is the Bishop that consecrated the founding five Bishops of the Bibleway Church of our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith Worldwide.
The Bishop in whose church, Bishop Charles H. Mason was baptized (in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ) before his death. John S. Holly was saved under the ministry of Bishop Alexander R. Schooler (of The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World). Alexander R. Schooler was an early Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Bishop appointed by Bishop Garfield Thomas Haywood.
Mr. Freeman was recommended for ordination by the late Bishop Thomas Jefferson Richardson, Jr. and ordained by Bishop William L. Bonner in 1992.
