Pascal Croci

Scénariste, Dessinateur, Coloriste - Né le 01/01/1961 (FRANCE)

Pascal CROCI, scénariste et dessinateur autodidacte, vit dans l’Aveyron. Il a connu la consécration grâce à Auschwitz, bande dessinée-document qui a reçu le Prix Jeunesse de l’Assemblée Nationale en 2000. Il fait ses premières armes en dessinant des bandes dessinées religieuses dans la presse catholique. Puis, il s’affranchit de ce travail de commande pour réaliser ses premières œuvres d’auteur. Son univers gothique met en scène des drames romantiques où la femme magnifiée est généralement trahie par les siens. En 2005, il s'attaque à la légende de Dracula et réalise sa suite Dracula, le mythe d’après le roman de Bram Stoker. Soit deux hommages à la littérature et au cinéma de vampires. Enfin avec Auschwitz, traduit en 10 langues, il obtient une reconnaissance internationale.
