Dr Anas Abou-Ismail is a medical doctor and author with a keen interest in Semitic languages. He has published two books, including Western Neo-Aramaic: The Dialect of Jubaadin. Dr Abou-Ismail's research interests include the linguistic history of Syria and the evolution of Semitic languages. He has also contributed to various publications in both linguistics and medicine.
