Carl Immanuel Gerhardt, cited on his publications by his initials C. I. Gerhardt (born on December 2, 1816 in Herbzerg near Torgau, died May 5, 1899 in Halle an der Saale) was a German mathematician and historian of mathematics whose fame rests mainly on his publication of philosophical and mathematical manuscripts of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz.
