The plates were engraved, probably by W. Watts, after designs by L. Mayer. They are from Mayer's Views in the Ottoman Empire, 1803, and his Views in the Ottoman dominions, 1810. Cf. J. R. Abbey, Travel in aquatint and lithography, under nos. 369 and 371.
