Artist's book consisting of all the drawings by Percy Grainger for the Free music machines he developed with Burnett Cross towards the end of his musical life. They were mostly drawn between 1951 and 1953. Printed in full colour. Hardcover bound in pale blue buckram with colour illustration mounted on front cover.
Designed by Colin Sackett ; casebound by Stuart Settle ; afterword by Simon Cutts.
Published in a numbered edition of 300 copies.
