B-architecten, B-bis & B-city are platforms that look for surprising spatial solutions with the aim of quality of life and sustainability. B-architecten, founded in 1997 by Evert Crols, Dirk Engelen and Sven Grooten, is a multidisciplinary team of designers, architects, urban planners and engineer-architects engaged in architectural and urban development projects. They are based in Brussels and Antwerp and work on projects in very diverse fields: housing, offices, shops and their furnishings, public buildings, public space, and so on. One of the starting points is the link between architecture and other disciplines. Ten years after the start of B-architecten, together with Sebastiaan Leroy, they founded B-bis architecten, a second branch within the company that focuses on smaller-scale architectural projects, the interior design of homes, offices and shops, devising scenographies for exhibitions and performing arts, temporary installations and furniture design. 2020 was the year in which B-city was launched, the new division of B-architects that supervises and helps shape complex urban projects. The emphasis here is on projects of a scale that have the ambition to create a new part of the city. Today B-architecten, B-bis and B-city have grown naturally into an office with more than 60 people. Each B-team has its specific focus and way of working, but they all share an outspoken and innovative view of the variety of projects that the B-platforms stand for

B-architecten, B-bis & B-city zijn platformen die zoeken naar verrassende ruimtelijke oplossingen met levenskwaliteit en duurzaamheid als doel. B-architecten, opgericht in 1997 door Evert Crols, Dirk Engelen en Sven Grooten, is een multidisciplinair team van ontwerpers, architecten, stedenbouwkundigen en ingenieur-architecten die zich bezighouden met architecturale en stedenbouwkundige projecten. Ze zijn gevestigd in Brussel en Antwerpen en werken aan projecten in zeer diverse domeinen: woningbouw, kantoren, winkels en hun inrichting, publieke gebouwen, openbare ruimte, enzovoort. Eén van de uitgangspunten is de koppeling van architectuur met andere disciplines. Tien jaar na de start van B-architecten richtten ze samen met Sebastiaan Leroy B-bis architecten op, een tweede tak binnen het bedrijf die zich toelegt op kleinschaligere architecturale projecten, de interieurvormgeving van woningen, kantoren en winkels, het bedenken van scenografieën voor tentoonstellingen en podiumkunsten, tijdelijke installaties en meubelontwerp. 2020 werd het jaar waarin B-city van start ging, de nieuwe divisie van B-architecten die complexe stadsprojecten begeleidt en mee vormgeeft. De nadruk ligt hier op projecten met een schaal die als ambitie hebben een nieuw stuk stad te creëren. Vandaag zijn B-architecten, B-bis en B-city op een natuurlijke manier uitgegroeid tot een kantoor met meer dan 60 mensen. Elk B-team heeft zijn specifieke focus en manier van werken, maar allen delen ze een uitgesproken en innovatieve kijk op de verscheidenheid aan projecten waar de B-platformen voor staan
