Lions of the Lyons

Colorado Cougars in a Modern Predator/Prey Drama

The author's encounters with wild cougars in a Colorado Rocky Mountain foothills environment is documented with photos. His knowledge of cougars was derived from first hand experiences since the early 1990's. The cougars continue to thrive in close proximity to humans. A game officer is quoted: "Encountering so many cougars so many times without the use of dogs is very unusual if not heard of."
