The portion of the convent collection designated Fondo del Maestro di Cappella consists principally of sacred vocal music manuscripts of the 17th-20th centuries, many holograph; includes entries for manuscript anthologies, 2353 individual manuscripts, and 21 printed works (chiefly liturgical music). Includes a small amount of instrumental, pedagogical, and other secular works. All entries include thematic incipits.

Francisco di Assisi was divided into two sections; that designated Fondo di Cappella, housed in the Biblioteca communale di Assisi until 1981, was cataloged by Sartori; the entire collection is now housed in the convent library.
