Edition Notes

Although the 1733 volumes have the statement "edito nova auctior & emendatior, tomi primi pars prior[-posterior]" on the t.p., they are not a new edition of v. 1. Maittaire wanted to call v. 4 "Tomi primi supplementum." However, the Bibliopola Batavus called it "Tomus primus" without Maittaire's knowledge, and Maittaire refers to Annales typographici as a set of 5 tomes. Cf. t. v, pt. 1, p. vi.

Vols. 2-3 have imprint: Hagae-Comitum : Apud Fratres Vaillant et Nicolaum Prevost; v. 4 has imprint: Amstelodami : Apud Petrum Humbert; v. 5 has imprint: Londini : Apud Gul. Darres & Cl. Du Bosc.

Vol. 2: 1722; v. 3: 1725; v. 4: 1733; v. 5: 1741.

Missignings: v. 2, pt. 1 has a2 incorrectly signed *2; v. 4, pt. 1 has 2N2 incorrectly signed N2.
