An edition of 50 printed on cream-colored rag paper (Hahnemühle) folded accordion style, numbered and signed by the author and the artist.

Each of the first 14 copies, the "édition de tête," is issued in a box. Each of these copies include an additional mezzotint signed by the artist as well as a ms. text by the author. The first eight copies of the édition de tête include also the original copper plates.

Each of the copies numbered 15 through 50 is issued in a case. Numbers 45 through 50 are not for sale. Number 50 is reserved for the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.

Some of the engravings were printed in 35 proof copies.
