Edition Notes

D'Afflitto's treatise is a commentary to Constitutio de jure protimēseōs of Emperor Frederick I; text of the decree on leaf 2.
D'Afflitto's treatise ends on leaf xlvij, followed by discussion of same theme by Baldus de Ubaldis, not separately titled.
Woodcut port. of the author with students or clients precedes the words "Excellentissimi ..." on t.p. (t.p. in ornamental frame); device of Jacques Giunta (as in Baudrier V, 98, no. 2) on last page.
Signatures: a-g⁸.
Cf. Index Aureliensis 101.351, an issue (?) naming Benoît Bonyn but not J. Giunta.
Includes index.
