Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya has taken up the pen to present the experience of the last ten years (2001 - 2011) of the Left Front government before the reader. He did not avoid controversial issues like Singur Nandigram, but rather showed that this initiative was taken for the overall development of West Bengal that day, which is certainly something to be proud of. The author's sharp yet simple prose is an additional attraction of the book. The book also has historical value for researchers.
