Edition Notes
Illustrated t.p., engr.
Includes index.
One of two edition with identical t.-p. and pagination; in this edition the recto of the 5th prelim. leaf contains 27 lines of text.
"Coronis apologetica pro colloquiis Erasmi, ex ipsius scriptis, quantum per otium licuit, fideliter collecta à P[etro]. S[criverio]. Accedit ejusdem de colloquiorum utilitate dissertatio": p. 751-784. This is a diatribe by Erasmus against Lambert Campester, who (he claims) published an expurgated edition of the Colloquies at Paris in 1524, though no copy of such an edition is known to have survived.
Bibliotheca Belgica states that there are two different editions matching this description, probably printed in different years, but impossible to tell which was published first. Distinguishing characteristics of the editions are listed.
