Although described separately in bibliographies, with De felicitate considered possibly an incunable edition, the 2 parts of this edition clearly were issued together: they are typographically uniform, being page-for-page reprints of the Kerver editions of 1501 (GW 4136 and 4149), which were also issued together; the paper stocks in the Houghton Library copy are uniform in both parts; the full-page woodcuts on A1v and Bb6v frame the 2 parts as a single publishing unit; De optimo statu begins with a caption title on Aa1r; and the 2 parts are found bound together in the British Library copy.
