The Crumbling Kingdom is the first book in the Pictures of Magic series, an illustrated fantasy adventure for young readers beginning chapter books. Miles, Sophie, Ollie, and their dog Bandit discover a magical picture tree whose pictures open portals to new worlds. When they enter a crumbling kingdom where the king has fled from fear, they must help restore courage, hope, and balance before the realm falls apart.
