Epistola objurgatoria ad Guilielmum King, LL. D.
Epistola canonici reverendi admodùm ad archidiaconum reverendum admodùm.
Edition Notes
David Greenwood (in William King, Tory and Jacobite, p. 163) mentions two 1744 editions, one (as this) with p. 24 misnumbered 23, Erratum on p. 30; Greenwood does not cite this general t. p.
The two parts each have special t. p., with imprint: Londini, Apud M. Cooper, in Pater-noster Row, 1744.
Mock attacks on King and the preface (Lectori) to his Tres oratiunculae (London, 1743?); actually written by King as parodies of the Latin of John Gilbert, Bishop of Llandaff, whom he had attacked in Tres oratiunculae. Cf. Greenwood, p. [157]-169.
