The Dissemination and Evolution of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture (ETCC) in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

In the rapidly developing era of globalization and digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI), as a disruptive technology, has brought profound changes to various industries, and its impact on the dissemination and evolution of excellent traditional Chinese culture (ETCC) is no less significant. This book The Dissemination and Evolution of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture (ETCC) in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) aims to explore how AI technology, in conjunction with ETCC, fosters cultural inheritance and innovation, and to offer valuable insights and exploration for future developments.
This book is divided into eight chapters, covering the theoretical background of the integration of AI with ETCC, new paths for cultural dissemination in the AI era, specific applications of AI in cultural communication, the evolution of cultural forms, global dissemination and reception of ETCC, future trends, and finally, case analysis and empirical research. Each chapter builds upon the previous one, thoroughly analyzing the role of AI in the global spread of ETCC and discussing the opportunities and challenges it presents.
The inheritance and development of ETCC are inseparable from technological innovation and a sense of responsibility to preserve and promote cultural heritage. With AI’s assistance, ETCC can thrive in the globalized era, reaching new audiences and engaging in meaningful cultural exchange worldwide. This book aims at contributing to this noble endeavor by offering both theoretical support and practical guidance.
Finally, as the author of this book, I, first of all, would like to express my sincere appreciation to all the scholars, experts, and colleagues who contributed to this book. The great support and dedication from them made this work possible. Meanwhile, I am very grateful for the funding from the Doctoral Research Startup Project of Guangdong University of Science and Technology in 2025 (Project Name: Research on the Education of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture for University Students in Dongguan from the Perspective of Ideological and Political Education. Grant Number: GKY-2025BSQDW-56). What is more, I also desire to extend my heartfelt thanks to all readers who care about and support the inheritance of Chinese culture. I hope this book will inspire thoughtful reflection and be conducive to the continuous development of ETCC in the age of AI.
