Woodcut title vignette (imperial arms of Charles V); the full page woodcut illus. by Arnold Nicolaï (sometimes wrongly ascribed to Juan de Arfe y Villafañe) are from the same blocks as in the Antwerp 1533 edition.
The translation is Hernando de Acuña's adaptation into Spanish verse of a prose translation by Charles V.
