An 8vo reprint of the 1553 4to edition; the translation is Acuña's adaptation into Spanish verse of a prose translation by Charles V; the woodcuts, by Arnold Nicolaï, are printed from the blocks of the 1553 ed., that on leaf 70 being in second state, with figure of Plazo in foreground cut down to proportionate size (43 mm.).
