Edition Notes
Translation wrongly ascribed to Claude de Seyssel or Laurent de Premierfait.
Vol. 2 has title: Le second volume de Orose.
"Senecque Des motz dorez des quatre vertus en francoys" ([46] leaves at end of v. 2) is a translation of the pseudo-Senecan De quattuor virtutibus cardinalibus. This section may also have been issued separately.

Variant settings of sheets are known (cf. Polain); in the Houghton Library copies, sheets SS2, a1-4 and c1-2 in v. 1 are in different settings, and sheet RR1 has reading "dOrose" in the title of v. 1, where Polain records "de Orose".
