The lose of the oriental amazonic region of Republic of Ecuador was a consecuence of the limits definition of the oil concession of International Petroleum Company(IPC)( USA oil company) in the peruvian border. In ecuadorian border at time of the sign of the ilegal Rio de Janeiro Protocol(29 January 1942)the oil concessionaries companies were brithish and netherlanders(SHELL and BP). The position of the USA goverment was always favorable to change the geographics limits of the nations, according of its economics advantage, based in oil and other natural resources explotation by the USA companies. The same situation was between Bolivia and Paraguay by the oil and gas deposits in El Chaco War; Chile and Peru war by the nitrate resources, etc.
