Unpaginated, unfoliated, unsigned.

Signatures: [a-c⁸ d⁶ e-f⁸ g⁶ h-l⁸ m¹⁰ n-r⁸ s⁶ t-A⁸ B¹⁰].

BN cat. des incun. and BSB-Ink identify the Sermones de tempore et de sanctis as a spurious work of Albertus.

Second colophon (fol. 84b): Sermo[n]es notabiles [et] formales m[a]g[ist]ri Alb[er]ti Magni Ordi[ni]s P[re]dicato[rum] de t[em]p[or]e [et] de sanctis p[er] tocius anni circulu[m] ac etiam b[e]n[e] registrati [secundu]m alphabeti ordine[m]. Impressi per Michahele[m] Gryff in oppido Ru̓tlingen finiunt feliciter. Deo gratias.

First colophon (fol. 198a): Sermo[n]es de tempore Alberti Magni per Michahelem Gryff in Rutlingen impressi. Finiu[n]t feliciter.

"It was clearly intended that the Sermones de sanctis should, as was usual, follow those De tempore and the colophon to this selection therefore mentions both parts in the proper order, as would be natural at the end of the book. But by a mistake of imposition the first leaf of the De tempore, which should have been left blank (cp. Greyff's practice in the second edition of Gritsch IB.10625), was printed with the last three lines of the seventh leaf of the quire and the whole contents of the eighth. It was probably to hide this error that the De sanctis was placed in front of it, with the result that the colophon on 84b relates to the whole book and that on 198a to only part of it. This edition would therefore appear to be the archetype of three editions by Johann Zainer (p. 528) and one by Wiener (p. 358), all undated, in which the same confusion occurs"--BM 15th cent. The reference above to the seventh and eighth leaves has been corrected in manuscript to ninth and tenth leaves in the margin of v. 2, p. 576, in BM 15th cent. Cf. also A. Schmidt, "Technische Beiträge zur Inkunabelkunde," in Gutenberg Jahrbuch, 1927, p. 20.

43 lines and head-line. Type: 93b. Capital spaces. Head-lines provide names of the feast.

Burke Library copy: Imperfect: fols. [84], [189], and [198] wanting; fols. [84] and [198] contain the colophons.

Burke Library copy: Rubricated capitals and paragraph marks rubricated throughout.

Burke Library copy: Binding: leather over wooden boards; printed waste pastedowns.
